I’m new to Pilates, where should I start?
Right where you are. All of our classes are open level, with layers and modifications built in so you can move at your own pace. If you’d prefer a more personalized introduction, we recommend starting with a private session.
What is Pilates / reformer Pilates?
Pilates is a low-impact, full-body practice designed to build strength from the inside out, with a focus on breath, control, and connection. The reformer is a spring-based apparatus that adds resistance and support, creating a dynamic experience that challenges stability, flexibility, and coordination.
What should I wear or bring to class?
Wear clean comfortable clothing you like to move in and a water bottle. Grip socks are required for all classes. Everything else is taken care of.
How early should I arrive for my first class?
About 5-10 minutes before class is perfect.
